*FINLAND-Valkeakoski, Hamënkyro
Sorrila is a large town school situated in Southern Finland, Valkeakoski. Sorrila is an ESD (Education for Sustainability Development) school of its'own kind'. It has over 400 pupils and pre 3 school groups.
Mahnala is an environmental school and it is the reason why it is very popular in the neighbourhood. At the moment it has 122 pupils. The school hs a pre-school group (6years old).
Mahnala is a famous school for its environmental and integrating way of teaching. It is part of the ECO-schools network, having received the permanent status.
*CYPRUS- Nycosia
Ayios Maronas is a public Elementary School situated in the area of Anthoupolis in Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus. The majority of its students come from the four remaining Maronite villages in Cyprus, they are Maronites. They are a separate ethnic minority in Cyprus, recognised as a religous group under 1960 constitution. They have their own history, traditions, language and generally their own culture which they try to preserve by having their own elementary school (Ayios Maronas).
*UNITED KINGDOM-London
Our Lady of Lourdes is a catholic school situated in Finchley, about 30 minutes metro drive from the city of London. The pupils of the school come from around 29 different nationalities and cultural backgrounds with 19 languages spoken in the school. There are many children from African, Asian and Eastern European countries.Americans too. Religion is the thing that connects the families. The school is concentrated in the environmental work. It is the part of the ECO-schools' and Healthy schools' network. The parents' organization is very active.
*NORWAY-Utsira
Utsira school is situated in the island of Utsira approximately one hour and 10 minutes from the city of Haugesund on the mainland of the Southwest coast of Norway. From Haugesund it is approximately two and a half hours by car to Bergen. Due to the small size of the fishing community the schools has classes from primary and secondary levels and has integrated classes, altogether 31 pupils. Some older pupils are able to take part in the Comenius partner meetings during the project, which will be a great opportunity for then. People in the island live very closely connected to the nature and the local community.
*SPAIN-La Nucia
Colegio Público Sant Rafael the biggest school in the group. It is situated 50 km from the city of Alicante, on the east coast of Spain. The school has 670 pupils. There are 3 year groups for infant education and 6 grades for primary education, each having classes form a-c. The school building is quite new and modern. Several special needs pupils are integrated to normal classes, which gives challenges in organizing the learning. They want to interchange ideas about teaching and learning methods with other partner schools.

Each school plans a craft work, wich is produced by traditional methods. It may connect technical and textile techniques.
HEALTHY AND LOCAL FOOD
A route of food product like potato/pea/tomato/grain/milk/fruit/vegetable will be described as a drawing.
Students write a story about home or school meals.
